From the end of July through the end of August, there will be three different Restaurant Week events taking place in Maryland and the DMV. These events, in which participating restaurants offer prix-fixe or special menus for lunch, brunch or dinner, attract countless visitors and are a great way to discover new restaurants in your area or get a great deal on old favorites.
The first, Baltimore Restaurant Week, starts on July 25 and extends through August 3. The oldest and largest Restaurant Week event in the area, Baltimore Restaurant Week sees over 70 restaurants participating over the course of 10 days. These include popular favorites like Bunny’s in Fell’s Point, Cinghiale in Harbor East, Little Havana in Federal Hill and Mama’s on the Half Shell in Canton. Restaurant Week prices vary by restaurant, but multicourse lunch specials are available for $10 to $25, with most dinner specials falling under $55 per person.
Howard County Restaurant & Craft Beverage Week is from August 11 to 24 and covers restaurants in Columbia, Ellicott City, Clarksville and other Howard County towns. Some of the highlights include multiethnic food hall The Common Kitchen, the historic Elkridge Furnace Inn and Indian and Mediterranean fusion restaurant Clove & Cardamom. More participating restaurants will be revealed as the event approaches.
Finally, the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington’s Restaurant Week will take place from August 18 to 24 and features over 200 restaurants in the Washington, D.C., area offering prix-fixe menus. Many of these participating restaurants offer multiple price points, with lunch and brunch available for $25 or $35 and dinner for $45, $55 or $65. RAMW Restaurant Week is a great opportunity to try award-winning restaurants, such as the Michelin-starred Gravitas and 2025 Great Eats Award winner Unconventional Diner.
