Momofuku’s sister bakery Milk Bar (with a Washington, D.C. location opening later this year) in hip Williamsburg now offers “Bake the Book” weekend classes based on their famed cookbook filled with recipes like Crack Pie and Compost Cookies. With the guidance of Milk Bar’s staff, students of all ages can learn the art of making their faves from behind the counter—and try out some newer recipes, too. Classes are $95 per person and you can enroll solo or in a group of up to 12. And, yes, you get to take all the goodies home. A trendy birthday cake trumps a souvenir T-shirt—even if you and your friends devour it on the car ride home.
