sept15-travel-philadelphiaThere’s more to Philadelphia cuisine than the cheesesteak and Audi Feastival (Thursday, Sept. 17) proves it. Part food fest, part performance art, part fundraiser and, yes, part car show, the one-night-only visual and culinary spectacular brings together 70+ of the region’s top chefs and mixologists to serve up haute cuisine and craft cocktails for a cause. That is, supporting the City of Brotherly Love’s cultural economy—and, specifically, FringeArts, a phenomenal organization that promotes live arts from around the globe. Who wouldn’t want to eat a small plate of Wagyu beef next to a drool-worthy car while ogling a bodysuit-clad contortionist on the water? Tickets, $300-$500. (Also check out the citywide Fringe Festival, Sept. 3-19, for a more affordable taste of the avant garde.)
