Yesterday’s matinee performance of “The Secret Garden” at Center Stage was the chicest place to be seen—for the under-10 set. Center Stage welcomed well-dressed children and their proud parents for a very special afternoon performance of the Tony award-winning musical. Before the sold out 2 p.m. performance, guests were invited to take part in activity stations where they could make bookmarks and create a garden of their own—just like the play’s hero. As our pics illustrate, all of the kids were in their absolute best finery. (Silver shoes appear to be all the rage.) Light refreshments, adorable cookies and, for an extra element of whimsy, blue drinks were served. Judging by all of the cute blue-tinted smiles in the room, they were a hit.
“The Secret Garden” at Center Stage runs through Nov. 29. Read our review here!
