Since its opening in early 2014, The Corner Pantry in Lake Falls Village has become known for its incredible selection of British cuisine. The menu, designed by chef Neill Howell and his wife, Emily, boasts a daily array of hot breakfast entrées (try the “Bubble & Squeak” potato and vegetable hash), as well as yummy lunch items like salads and sarnies (that’s English for sandwich, according to Britain-born Neill) and a rotating menu of grab-and-go options (Coronation Chicken Salad, roasted asparagus with bacon and almonds, and Thai shrimp cakes, to name a few). Though The Corner Pantry only offers extended dinner hours on Thursdays, they’re open until 7 every weeknight. “A huge part of why we opened is to offer a great healthy dinner option for families,” says Emily.
