Candid moment: Odds are your light fixtures are pretty boring. Don’t worry, ours are too. But now that we’ve fully settled into 2018, it’s time to do something about it. Enter David Iatesta Studio, an Eastern Shore-based design company that has been featured everywhere from “Traditional Home” to “Architectural Digest.” Though the gamut of Iatesta’s designs is stunning, we’re particularly drawn to the beautifully unusual light fixtures, like this celestial “Armillary Chandelier.” Inspired by the armillary sphere, an ancient astronomical device used to plot the planets, the chandelier features an antique gold finish, lead crystal beads and movable rings that can be repositioned to your liking. Let the fixture be the star of the show in your foyer, or introduce it to an otherwise-boring room for a look that’s seriously out of this world. Price available upon request, David Iatesta Studio, available through designers only, davidiatesta.com
