Linganore Winecellars has been run by the same family for three generations, and they incorporate their German-Swiss heritage into the wines they make. They’re notable for holding Maryland’s first-ever grape festival in 1977, as well as establishing the state’s first federally designated grape-growing area in 1983. They offer a wide variety of wines in sweet and dry red and white varieties, as well as fruit wines in flavors like mango sangria and spiced apple.
