Black Ankle Vineyards’ wine is made with sustainably grown grapes harvested from the vineyard’s property. The winery’s name is a bit of a double entendre, named for Black Ankle Trail, but also the feet of grape-stompers. In addition to Black Ankle Fridays, which are live concerts that often feature food trucks, they also offer personalized wine-tasting events. Interestingly, Black Ankle Vineyards is home to a family of sheep that live in its fields.
