When Savvy first heard Lululemon was finally coming to Baltimore, she suddenly had visions of every woman in Eddie’s in wide-banded, low-slung black yoga pants. Shudder. Allow Savvy to say one thing: She loves Lululemon for her workouts. Every single piece of it. Smart design, fabulous functionality, wears like iron. But, ladies, before running out to stock up on all of it (and you should), can we all agree to not allow Lululemon to become the new carpool couture? Sav has barely recovered from the days of Seven jeans thong flashes, courtesy of all those yes-I’ve-still-got-it mommies bending over to attend to their young. (Her thanks in advance.) Here’s what you need to know: The Fells Point store is a showroom store. What does that mean? It’s a concept similar to what passes for dating these days: You can only go Thursday through Saturday (11 a.m. to 6 p.m.), so plan your pilgrimage wisely. Once there, snap up running tops (no seams=no chafing), jackets (defined or not), tanks (heart the built-in bras) and Savvy’s new love, the jogging skirt (you’ve never looked more adorable while running trails). Don’t miss: The free weekend yoga classes, held in the shop or at the Patterson Park pagoda. Check http://www.lululemon.com/baltimore for calendar and details. 1724 Aliceanna St., 410-537-5120
