Nicholas Johnson, owner of Su Casa in Fells Point and Ellicott City, has another fabulous concept on his hands with Pad. Everything in the store has modern, clean lines and the scale and functionality of the pieces are just perfect for downtown dwellings. The tables from S Collection and Calligaris are all done at “gathering height” (not too high, not too low) and offer hidden extensions. Savvy adores the feisty seating from EQ3, done in prints that makes her think of 1950s airline seats— in a good way. Pad’s mercury lamps look wonderful with any décor and much of the modern seating is one-of-a-kind (take that,IKEA).
