>> Welcoming warm colors in shades inspired by the setting sun evoke an Indian bazaar. The goal was to create a “bit of intrigue” and mystical effect that is “clean, elegant and simplistic,” says Tali Adelstein, who designed this table for Linwoods. A mustard-gold and hearth-red metal tray filled with fresh fruit bursts into a flame of delicate orange and red flowers at the table’s focal point. Pale orange napkins are placed upon bright, gleaming chargers, while a tablecloth reminiscent of sari fabric ties everything together seamlessly.

>> “Yellow is just so bright and happy,” says Carla Seigley, one of this table’s designers from Ory Custom Florals, when explaining the inspiration for this saffron-themed table. “We got to be the most creative and have the most fun,” adds designer Ory Webster. The centerpiece standing tall upon a bed of forest green moss holds forsythia and yellow roses anchored in a yellow crock pot. Tulips and daffodils potted on either side of the centerpiece playfully enrich the table’s sunny appeal. The yellow satin overlay provides a backdrop for yellow chargers that hold small bags of saffron rice tied with polka-dot ribbons and ceramic beads. This perfect spot of sunshine sets the stage for an afternoon spent sipping tea.

<“Let’s be honest— who doesn’t love chocolate?” asks designer Johari Barnes of Distinctively Yours Event Management. Almond Hershey’s kisses scattered across a zebra print tablecloth set the foundation for a table evoking “love and friendship.” A black-lacquered vase holds red roses, carnations and yellow spider mums woven with twisted branches. Small votives set the mood with candle- light glinting off the gold-trimmed red and white chargers. In a playful touch, miniature canning jars filled with chocolates hold the delicious “Recipe for Life,” which begins with “four cups of love.”

>>Romance arrives with Tiffany blue and red roses. “I couldn’t think of anything more sensual than red and Tiffany blue,” says designer Laurie Myers of Ann’s Garden. Multiple levels of light from the votives to the floating candles above the Swarovski-adorned flowers cast a soft, sparkling glow. A centerpiece of black magic roses, Charlotte roses, immersed Gerber daisies in glass cylinders and a spray of cymbidium orchids in tall glass vases along with red anemones add height to the composition. Atop a sheer overlay of swirling black scrolls and an underlay of Tiffany blue taffeta rest gold chargers, each holding a single red-throated cymbidium orchid with a sprig of thyme wrapped in blue ribbon and embellished with red beads upon black satin napkins. The romantic revelry is completed with Chiavari chairs tied with Tiffany blue sashes.
