Unless you’ve been living under a rock (or maybe in a cloud of aerosol), you’re probably aware that NBC will broadcast the next edition of their live musical series, Hairspray LIVE!, at 8/7 c on Wednesday, Dec. 7. In honor of the occasion, get a taste of the town with Hairspray inspired cocktails created by some of Baltimore’s most talented mixologists! From shaken and stirred to hot and cold, these specialty drinks offer a delicious variety of flavor and color to satisfy any beat.

Apropoe’s: Timeless
Named for the timelessness of a musical and movie that spans generations, this classic cocktail of vodka lemon, lime and grenadine is sweetened with a sugar rim and cherry on top. $8
B&O American Brasserie: The Beehive
In honor of the 60s bouffant hair-do, this cocktail is made up of NYDC Dorothy Parker Gin, Liqueur de Violette, honey, lemon and Brut Rosé. $10

 

Birroteca: The Corny Collins
Inspired by the teen dance show host and served in a Collins glass, this cocktail of Titos Vodka, cranberry-ginger shrub, lemon juice, and club soda is garnished with a cotton candy “beehive”. $10
