We always head to Green Spring Station when we want to make a great first impression. In this case, we asked sassy Mikey Monaghan, GSS marketing director—and a professor of fashion if ever there was one—to pull items from Panache, which just renovated to offer more product selection.
Monaghan then bopped and shopped all around the bustling Station to create Hazen’s sexy update, complete with a bag from Becket Hitch and extra-tall booties from Matava—and more. “January needs a little pop of fun, thanks to our dreary weather,” says Monaghan. “I went for a colored fur vest from Trillium to make Liz feel sassy and ready for a night on the town.”
MODEL CITIZEN: Calvert School teacher Liz Hazen dazzles in a Velvet Underground-esque ensemble intended for night—and we don’t mean night school. The skinny pants make Hazen’s long legs go for extra miles, the green vest electrifies the green in her eyes and the kickass boots kick up a heck of a lot of hot attitude in a cold season.“I felt very glamorous in those clothes, very polished and together—definitely a little Ziggy [Stardust], but also a little like a kid playing dress-up,” Hazen says. “I loved the vest, but the boots were my favorite.” Who are we to argue with our prettiest teacher?
