New System Bakery has finally reopened in its new home, a few blocks around the corner from its former space on The Avenue, where it had been since the 1930s. All those delectable confections are still available: fancy cakes, fluffy pies, tarts, decadent eclairs and, of course, the doughnuts— the official morning nosh of the Style magazine offices. Our favorites are the buttercream-filled chocolate tops and the raspberry jam-filled sugar-coated ones.  But you can’t go wrong with anything from the display case.
