After reviewing about a million new places selling gifty things, Savvy now measures every new shop by how many things she actually purchases, not just peruses. Suffice it to say, she left Funky Beehive with a bagful. Blessedly, the Beehive is a whole lot less cloyingly darling than most, and a whole lot more fun. Sure, you’ll find the expected jewelry, art, barware and magnets with deep messages. But you’ll also get a chuckle out of Blue Q’s “Savin Up For Valium” tin bank, the “Party Naked” baby onesie and a book that takes Justin Timberlake’s “Saturday Night Live” skit to a new level (suffice it to say, the title isn’t printable in a family publication)… Don’t miss: The crab, Bromo tower and Domino Sugar Charm City charms from Fiddley Bits. 906 S.
