A party that ends with the staging of a play is one of our favorite kinds of get-togethers. Baltimore STYLE was delighted to join Chesapeake Shakespeare Company on Feb. 3 for a red carpet party in honor of their new play, “Red Velvet,” directed by Shirley Basfield Dunlap.
The play is based on the life of Ira Aldridge, an African American actor and trailblazer. It’s a must-see for drama lovers. Our party goers enjoyed the performance along with a pre-show fête and the chance to meet Dunlap.
It was another great night of theater and community!
