Now that the Hippodrome is a confirmed success, where will all those theatergoers dine before the show? Maggie Moore’s Irish Pub and Restaurant is the newest option. Located directly across the street in the regal old Baltimore Equitable Society building, the design makes use of many of the handsome original bank fixtures. The menu features traditional pub fare and Irish favorites, but also interesting items such as fried green tomatoes stuffed with blue crab salad, cider-brined double-cut pork chops, seared rockfish with Irish cheese grits and jumbo lump crab fondue. Eleven draught beers are on tap, as well. (21 N. Eutaw St., 410-837-2100)
