La Tasca, a Spanish tapas bar and restaurant, has opened at Harborplace in the Pratt Street Pavilion. Lots of wrought-iron fixtures, warm colors, playful pillows and eclectic artwork— hung in a jaunty salon-style— comprise the lively look of the place. The menu boasts 45 tapas dishes, six types of paella (including vegetarian and the seafood-and-chicken Paella Valenciana) and nine different blends of sangria. The bar also stocks more than 60 Spanish wines and beers. Weekly specials include half-priced bottles of wine on Mondays until 9 p.m., half-priced sangria pitchers on Thursdays, complimentary happy hour paella served on Fridays and “$10/10 minute” lunch specials. La Tasca began in the D.C. metro area, where it has two restaurants; the Harborplace location is its third. (201 E. Pratt St., Pratt Street Pavilion, 410-209-2563)
