Last night, the 73rd annual Golden Globes premiered several surprises. Leo winning best actor, not surprising. “Revenant” director Alejandro González Iñárritu winning best director and best drama…do we smell back to back Oscar winner? The highly critically acclaimed film “Carol” was noticeably absent. Taraji P. Henson won for her role of Cookie Lyons and didn’t let anyone cut her short. She handed out cookies to nearby members of the audience during her walk of triumph, including Leo. Strange interactions with female winners for Leo didn’t stop there. Lady Gaga, while stomping fiercely to the stage, bumped into DiCaprio giving him a slight startle. Amy Schummer and Jennifer Lawrence (who have an upcoming joint project) made cute. Generally hilarious Ricky Gervais had an off night. We rounded up some of the crowd-favorite moments from last night’s broadcast. See the footage and Baltimore’s reactions below. Ricky Gervais talks about how devilish he is the way Donald Trump talks about how great he is. #GoldenGlobes — Max Weiss (@maxthegirl) January 11, 2016
I did not watch a lick of the #GoldenGlobes – but if @rickygervais didn’t mock a steve harvey moment last night then all hope is lost. — Jessica Misudek (@JBlades15) January 11, 2016
Ricky Gervais ends show off camera: “From myself and Mel Gibson, Shalom!” He’s the best. #GoldenGlobes
