Stevenson Village has never been exactly known for destination shopping, but hold on, that’s all about to change. Let’s start with the Lori K boutique in its new location. The spacious and bright store still carries the same great lines— Sachin + Babi, Venezia Milano, Lafayette 148— but has expanded to carry Jenzie, Leifsdottir and Zenobia. And they still have the best collection of scarves in town (from $50 to $500). Joanna Gray (who migrated north from Cross Keys) still stocks French Sole, Donald Pliner, Stuart Weiztman plus some new lines: Jil Sander, See by Chloe. An unexpected find? Eyebobs. Savvy picked up a few pairs of those fun reading glasses (as presents for friends, of course). Missy Connolly’s Fern Hill Design offers home accessories and furniture (Pine Cone Hill, Russell & McKenna among others) featuring the “cottage-style-with-a-modern-twist” her work is noted for. The fitting finale for any Stevenson sojourn? The Velvet Chocolatier. Ruthie Carliner uses all-natural ingredients to create handmade chocolates and truffles, combining chocolate with flavors such as vanilla, coffee, cinnamon and honey.  Stevenson Village, Stevenson Road
