Serves four
3/4 stick butter
2 tablespoons chopped onion
1 tablespoon chopped green pepper
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
1 cup milk or cream
dash Tabasco sauce
1 egg
1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley
1 pimento, chopped
1 cup soft bread cubes (small)
1 1/2 pounds lump crabmeat
  paprika as needed
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Set aside 2 tablespoons of melted butter. Add onions and green pepper to the pan. Simmer for 5 minutes; remove from heat. Add in all other ingredients. Gently blend in crabmeat. Spoon ingredients into ceramic “crab shells” and brush top of mixture with the reserved 2 tablespoons melted butter and sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
