Jordan’s Steakhouse was a Main Street staple in Ellicott City for quite a while, but came to a sad end last year. Now Portalli’s has opened on the spot and brought classic Italian cuisine to the neighborhood. The new owners have brought in chef Keith Holsey to run the kitchen and have kept the layout of the restaurant intact, but brightened it up with new paint and lighting. The menu features traditional Italian pasta dishes, meats and fish, as well as Italian-inspired dishes such as seasonal gnocchi and a crab and risotto cake with roasted red pepper sauce and parsley pesto.
