Housed within a corner space in the old Patterson Theater in Highlandtown (which is also home to the Creative Alliance) is the new Marquee Lounge. The sleek, contemporary space, designed by local firm Kroiz Architecture, features polished-concrete floors, a long bar fronted with rolled steel and topped by gleaming white marble and a vibrant mural by Lauren Boilini. The lounge currently serves a full cocktail menu and a rotating wine list, with food service to be added later. It also is the setting for the Alliance’s monthly Food=Art dining series.
