Back in the bad old days, before Baltimore had really come up to speed in terms of new restaurant openings, one of the few bright spots on the local dining scene was Tabrizi’s in Federal Hill (the current location of Corks). After an absence of more than 10 years, Tabrizi’s is back, now located in the waterside spot at Harborview that has been the setting of so many failed eateries. Let’s hope this time is the charm. Owner Michael Tabrizi bills has created a menu that mixes Mediterranean cuisine with Middle Eastern, with appetizers like traditional baba ghanoush, grilled eggplant and stuffed grape leaves, and entrees such as grilled pork medallions in a green peppercorn glaze, veal scaloppini stuffed with sage and prosciutto, grilled rack of lamb and grilled chicken kabobs with a Middle Eastern dry rub. The wine list includes many from Greece, Italy, Spain and Lebanon. Dinner only, seven days. 500 Harborview Drive, 410-727-3663
