Lebanese TavernaWith nine locations in the Baltimore-Washington corridor, Lebanese Taverna has just added its newest link to the chain. Now open at Harbor East, the restaurant mixes a sleek, modern decor with traditional authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. Inside, the swooping ceilings are reminiscent of the sails on a boat, and the floor-to-ceiling windows allow diners views of the water outside. There’s seating for 150, including the main dining room, a trendy communal eating table and a lounge with additional banqette seating. In addition to the long list of mezze dishes, the menu features a mixed grill with skewers of lamb, chicken and kafta, fatteh bel djaje (seared seasoned chicken with chickpeas, crispy pita chips and warm yogurt sauce with toasted pine nuts and mint) and sharhat ghanam (grilled lamb loin marinated with olive oil served over three-herb sauce of cilantro, parsley and mint). Open for lunch and dinner, seven days. 719 S. President St., 410-244-5533
