When the sun sets in many Asian cities, the night markets open. These open-air agoras are filled with vendors offering food and merchandise, as street performers entertain shoppers. Since 2010, Philadelphia has thrown its own version of the night market, with food trucks and dozens of restaurants setting up stalls in various neighborhoods throughout the city.
