I grew up and still live minutes from Knoebels and have many great memories of riding those kiddie rides. I cried when I grew too tall to ride the hand-crank cars (think bike pedals, but for your hands, which propel the car forward). And one of my best memories was climbing to the top of the spiral slide with the dad and sitting on his lap as we slid all the way down. My husband grew up with Knoebels as well, and we go several times a year now. We love to reminiscence as we walk through kiddie-land, and we can’t wait until we have children so we can take them to Knoebels. Though the adult rides are great too, especially the Haunted Mansion and the Phoenix.

knoebels is the best. Went there as a child almost every weekend. watched it grow. my children enjoy it and now my grandchildren. The best thing is free admission, free parking. the food is the best. been to other parks and the normal fare. knoebels has great food. their soft icecream is superb. likewise cesari’s pizza. yum

Just returned from a weekend of camping in Knoebles campground with my family. I have been going to Knoebles every year since I was a kid and now that we can take our children and grandchildren there and camp out at the same time it is even better.
If you have never been you definately need to give it a try. I guaranty that you will go back year after year. They are always adding new rides for the bigger kids/adults while keeping all the older rides for the younger kids. Something hard to find in todays amusement parks.
