Samson’s 3rd Birthday Bash!
On Saturday, March 19th the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore will be celebrating the Zoo’s first-born pachyderm, Samson’s 3rd birthday.  From 11a.m.- 1 p.m. at the Elephant Overlook, zoo goers will get a small birthday treat and will be able to join the Zoo family as they sing “Happy Birthday” to our favorite three year old.  I hear an elephant friendly cake, made from carrots, mashed taters and apples, will be shared with Samson’s herd.  Now, Charm City Cakes has made sure you won’t be left out by generously donating a human cake for guests.
(One slice per person while supplies last)

During Samson’s Birthday Bash, don’t forget to visit the face painters and sign Samson’s birthday card!
Happy Birthday Samson!!!

ROYAL INVITATION —
So, at long last, I got my eyes on an invitation to the upcoming wedding of Prince William of Wales to Catherine Middleton.
Golly, the palace must be on a cost-cutting campaign.
Single card, with a fill-in-the-blank for the guest’s name-that’s it!
If it turns out to be BYOB, I would be outta there. Tee Hee…

GOOD DEAL ADDICTION
Ok, admitting I have a problem is the first step, right?
So, I have decided to make sure I utilize all these great “deals” by writing about my experiences with each one. So far, I have purchased Groupon/ Living Social deals to restaurants, eye doctors, skin care and hair services , to name a few.  I hesitate to call it a “review” more like my view and like many of you really don’t want to see any of my purchases go to waste.  So, my next column will include my recent trips to Sabor Restaurant, in Lutherville and due to a power outage a last minute trip to Ethel & Ramone’s, in Mt. Washington.  Keep tuned in…
