Savvy just adores scooters, there’s something so fabulously “Roman Holiday”-chic about them. But she’s no Audrey Hepburn (sadly), Baltimore isn’t Rome (sadly) and (happily) Vespas are no longer the only game in town. Green Rider is a new Fells Point outfit renting and selling Motorino electric scooters. Cruising along at up to 30 mph for up to 30 miles, these eco-friendly cuties don’t need a drop of gas (or a special license, natch). While Savvy loved the retro models with classic (and clearly Vespa-inspired) lines, there are also versions that could hold their own with the Harley crowd, as well as some that look ready for the “Jetsons” remake. Now if only her emissions-free new ride came with Gregory Peck, Savvy really would feel like a princess.
