As the first of Towson Town Center’s recession-be- damned luxury collection to open (look for Louis Vuitton and Lacoste next summer), Savvy feared the new Burberry store would resort to stocking just the usual plaid basics (scarves, umbrellas, etc) and stylish-though-staid coats. As it turns out, she was pleasantly surprised. Yes, you have to wade through the more predictable pieces, but head to the back for great men’s and women’s outerwear (Savvy finds it all even smarter than Prada Sport for a much nicer price tag) as well as Burberry collection clothing and shoes. While Savvy would simply swoon for some Burberry Prorsum, it seems like such a minor complaint.
