Mission Statement: Gerstell Academy is a diverse educational community dedicated to providing a nurturing and mentoring environment where each student’s potential to become a leader, to learn, to grow morally, and to be physically fit is maximized. Emphasis is placed upon building a strong foundation of fundamental knowledge by providing a traditional academic curriculum, developing mental and physical prowess and spiritual awareness. Our comprehensive program and curriculum, for our youngest student to future graduating seniors, is designed to develop leaders with strong character by educating students to think critically, to develop self-confidence, and to respond to the needs of others. We shall evaluate our effectiveness and success as a school by our ability to matriculate promising students who incorporate the school’s Guiding Principles and motto, Leadership, Honor, Courage into all aspects of their lives.
