Simply BeautifulAs the owner of Simply Beautiful Flowers, I’d like to say that I was shocked to see the August 15, 2007 posting. Our goal is to please everyone, everyday. We’ve been doing this since 1992 and care about every single customer. I do remember this particular circumstance. I personally delivered a $300 flower arrangment to the funeral home, as requested. The next day I was informed that the flowers were never placed by the funeral home in the viewing room; florists must deliver to a ‘flower room’ at all funeral homes. Because the client was only interested in impressing someone at the first viewing, he called our shop the next day and refused to pay. I explained that the flowers would still be enjoyed for another day’s two viewings. But still he demanded a full refund even after I offered one half off --for a mistake made by the funeral home, and out of my control. So, with care and discretion, the flowers were picked up at at time when no one, but the funeral director, was present. Many businesses are at the mercy of anyone’s whim with regard to internet comments. We are, and have always been, committed to our customers and top notch service.

While I know mistakes can happen, this does not sound like any experience I have had with Simply Beautiful. They are always very professional and their work is spectacular. The owners stive to create unique and creative flower designs. I have ALWAYS been more than pleased.

could not agree more. Used to be a great operation---they just keep going downhill.

Imagine my embarassment!!!
Simply Beautiful Flowers failed to deliver my flowers to a Towson, Maryland Funeral Home in time for a viewing. When questioned, the florist admitted that there was an error and the flowers were, indeed, delivered a day late. They informed us that they would take responsibility for it and credit me for the amount of money I paid. Imagine my extreme embarassment when I was told by the grieving family that Simply Beautiful flowers came into the funeral home and removed the flowers during the actual viewing!!! When questioned by the family, they told them that the flowers were being removed because they were not paid for!!! I cannot imagine that anyone would do such a rude, inconsiderate and unprofessional thing. The funeral home told me they never deal with Simply Beautiful flowers...now I know why! I caution readers to think twice before engaging the services of this florist!
