Once a month, Creative Cakes offers an open house to the public where you can taste the variety of cake flavors or look through their portfolio of cakes and decorations. He prefers doing specialty cakes such as weddings or bat- and bar mitzvahs, but does not limit his talents. John will also create specialty desserts for a party. He also does groom's cake. Tastings are offered. The price can range anywhere from $4.25 to $10 per serving. Given the time that he puts into each cake, Hammock accepts only one or two events a day; so get your orders in as soon as possible.

On occasion, delivery is available for large events. A small retail store is located at the front of the bakery for pick-up. Most 6-inch cakes cost about $16, a 10-inch runs about $34. Individual pastries start at $3.50 and bite-sized usually cost $11 a dozen. For cookie and pastry assortments, the patisserie client can choose from among a dozen varieties.
