The Stylish Traveler

If you like Miss Shirley’s in Baltimore, you’ll love Miss Shriley’s in Annapolis.

Miss Shriley's in AnnapolisThis brand new version of an old Baltimore favorite is big, bright and spacious. Comfy booths—ideal for lingering—line the walls and the earth-toned décor is soft on the eyes.

Menu includes the Miss Shirley’s staples we know and love—cones of Sweet Potato Fries, plates of Fried Green Tomatoes, Savory Grits and Miss Shirley’s famous Funky Monkey Bread. For the uninitiated, this diet-busting bread is a cinnamon, banana, chocolate and pecan concoction accompanied by a cup of melted chocolate for dipping.

Despite these decadent choices, waist watchers needn’t stay home.  Can’t Beet This Spinach Salad—my personal favorite—is a bowlful of spinach, roasted red and yellow beets, goat cheese, dried cranberries, almonds and a few other goodies thrown in.  Menu includes dozens of soups, appetizers, creative sandwiches and salads I can’t wait to try.

Miss Shriley's in AnnapolisEven though Miss Shirley’s in Annapolis has only been open a few days it’s generating quite a buzz.  Check it out.
