I wouldn’t even wear that dress to work as a maid.

Mr. Sharpe,
I’m glad your gift brought your mother joy.  That is wonderful.

As for continuing to buy LV products, by all means, that is your right.  Just so long as you know you are paying hundreds, perhaps thousands, for plastic.

Dearest Lisa,
There are very few iconic brands doing truly quality leather goods anymore. Hermes is, of course, the best. Please do not get upset when you know persons whom can afford these items…and you know a few. A couple of years ago I returned, from a trip in Europe, with a wonderful orange Hermes box with two purses for Mother. My parents were traveling elsewhere, so I put it in her bed. she is now dieing of cancer, but rather liked the gifts…alot. It made her very happy, even with the big “H” on one, and I now look back on the memory of seeing her opening it up as something I shall always recall. Shallow, maybe…..but giving something to someone you love, with a “Logo” is not the end of the world. I will continue to buy LV and Hermes wallets, period. Best regards, William

So you mean there isn’t actually a problem with my “taste level?” I thought perhaps if I were wealthy, I’d acquire a new set of eyes that would help me see why so many of these God-awful bags and accessories are so expensive and seemingly so coveted.

Sometimes a bag simply makes you look like ... a bag lady. Amen, Lisa.

Thank God!  It’s not just me!  So glad you find LV the lowest of the low.  I wouldn’t even buy that crap as a knock-off.  Can’t believe the people who are DESPERATE to sling one of those hideous PLASTIC bags over their shoulder.  Lots of taste—all of it bad!  Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Dreadful stuff - and probably LV is the most pirated brand which I think has made the brand worthless anyway.

I’m glad to see that there are at least a few of us who are appalled at these overpriced, “oh-blind-me-now” piles of rat poo.  I’ve been shaking my head for decades wondering what people (with more money than moi) saw in these pleather walking ads.

I’m pretty sure that is a security tag still clamped on the Paloma by Marc Jacobs. Yikes! Thanks for sharing…I think.
