Vasarri—Retirement/Store Closing Sale
Comments
Totally gorgeous in the Steven Yearick! I have previously scheduled appointments tomorrow, but I do hope to drop by. Thanks for the great blog and for reprising your Washington Opera story. I’ve attended the C.A.R.E. ball in the past and the embassy dinners, particularly if the luck of the draw provides one with a fun country, are enjoyable and enchanting. You looked fabulous!
Oh, Lisa!!! I saw you in that fabulous Stephen Yearick and you looked gorgeous! Nothing at the Gala compared to the beauty and elegance of that gown (and I thought I looked fabulous….) The event certainly warranted something unique sophisticated, stately, elegant, and again, you found the find all women wish they could find….Few buyers in the big dept stores sense a women’s needs on that level. The little shops owners like Gail that find the off the beaten path designers that bring smiles to our faces. I am so sorry to learn of Vasarri’s closing. These are the shop owners we, as a community, need to support. My best wishes to Gail- she has an eye, and should continue sharing her talents with the rest of us. And Hope to see you Wednesday!
Oh, if only I were in Baltimore…
That’s just the kind of shop we need more, not less, of. Small, well stocked, with personal service. Salespeople who get to know each customer’s taste and can gently steer them where they might not ordinarily have gone. Perhaps you, Lisa, could take it over??! I’d come back and help you run it.
