Fit for Art—and Craft

Comments

The Tabula Tasa jacket pattern from Fit for Art is absolutely ideal for playing with fabric.  Lends itself perfectly to collaging.  Not “done-in-a-minute” and not arduously complex.  Exactly right to garner compliments.

Oh, anything artsy is automatically left-wing - nothing subtle about it!

Seriously, I have a few sewing skillz but have not used them in several years, ever since I gummed up my machine with some sequiny fabric. Months later, I traveled to Zanesville (yes, that Zanesville, the scene of the recent animal tragedy), where a good old-fashioned sewing-machine-and-vacuum-cleaner outfit fixed it for, like, $10 and parts. These jackets could inspire me to dust off my machine over winter break. Thanks for the cool tip, Glamour Girl.

I’m looking for the hidden political message from GG. Wait, there isn’t one? Quelle déception!
