Glamour Girl
Glamour Girl is thrilled, thrilled, thrilled that there’s apparently a new trend afoot (and ahead, and awaist, and ashoulder, and a—well, you get the idea) for men, specifically American men, to—gasp—dress like adults! Quelle concept! She is positively atwitter (no, not in that sense).
As she wrote about just recently, here, and here, and here, there’s no reason why men must go around looking like they’re just about to clean out the garage, or already have. And there’s nothing to be proud of in dressing like a 12-year-old.
So what a pleasure to read in the NYT that men are finally starting to get it.
There are so many delicious quotes in this article, I’m loath to excerpt just one for fear of leaving out a better one. So take a look, gentle reader, and then tell me what you think. Wouldn’t you (or your beau) rather look like that, above, than like this:
