Reading about those delectable chocolate-covered creations not only brought back incredible childhood taste memories but a unique auditory memory, as well: I can still hear the voice of a special relative singing that classic Mary Sue (Gilbert and Sullivan) jingle with my unwieldy six-syllable name—Karen Sue Amsterdam—acting as a perfect substitute for the words “Mary Sue Easter Eggs.”
