The Canton night life mix has a new player on the scene: Kamp. Situated in the space that formerly housed The Spot and Flirt, the club’s interiors have undergone a year-long, complete renovation— much of it courtesy of owner Warren Hemenway himself. The open, Zen-like space offers serene private seating areas, glowing lights and a smooth, loungey vibe. House DJs spin a variety of beats, from smooth ambient music to get-sweaty-on-the-dance-floor grooves. Specialty nights include everything from wine tastings, belly dancers and ethnic theme parties, to guest MCs and live percussion evenings with bongos and congas.
