Greystone Grill


A burgeoning local chain, Greystone Grill has opened its first location in Columbia and will follow with its second in Hunt Valley in the fall. “Our market niche is to be one step above casual dining, and just a step below fine dining and steakhouses,” says co-owner Michael Knapp. What that means for diners is a sumptuous, contemporary setting with stacked stone accents and dramatic lighting. The menu features solid American-style cuisine with a focus on steaks, chops and fresh seafood. The restaurant includes a wine vault area where regular patrons can reserve and stock their own wine shelves. In keeping with the American grill format, most wines are domestic, and all selections are available by the glass. Open for lunch and dinner. (8850 Columbia 100 Parkway, 410-715-4739)
