Timonium favorite Courtney’s has pulled up stakes and moved a few blocks north on York Road, into the space vacated by Bare Bones Brewery. The sedate dining rooms offer a sumptuous backdrop for the traditional menu of seafood, steaks and chops. Soft lighting, a flickering fireplace and plush banquettes filled with suburban regulars make for a formal yet friendly atmosphere. Across the hall, the big, crowded bar plays host to a somewhat younger set, who enjoy the flat-screen TVs, a bar menu and even a separate lounge area with oversized leather sofas and a piano.
