Pikesville, which is home to two very popular Mexican restaurants (the Mari Luna Grills), just got another: Si Salsa. With an airy dining room and a rear patio that opens onto the woods, the new restaurant offers lots of Tex-Mex specialties along with some American standards given a Latin accent.  As expected, the menu offers combinations of tacos, burritos, chimichangas, enchiladas and sizzling fajitas. On the less-expected side, look for Mexican crab cakes (served with a jalape—o tartar sauce), a chorizo grilled pork chop, chicken rojas and a mushroom strudel. It’s a family friendly place, but things heat up on Thursday and Saturdays for salsa nights. There’s also a DJ and dancing till 1:30 on Friday nights.
