The mix at Power Plant Live! has a new player: Angels Rock Bar. The club, situated on the upper level vacated by Have a Nice Day Cafe, is the third location in the burgeoning chain, which has already opened bars in Houston and Louisville. The partners behind the concept have previously been involved with clubs such as Fly lounge in D.C., Lotus and Tattoo. The focus of the 5,000-square-foot club is an enormous island bar and adjoining elevated DJ booth. Multi-level VIP seating areas offer bottle service, and an outdoor patio with lounging areas is secluded amongst billowing white draperies and candles. Inside, the flashy decor boasts neon and industrial accents, and lots of room to dance.
