That sounds really, really nice. I haven’t been to the Gin Mill in a million years - I mostly think of it as a place where I’d leave smelling like smoke and spilled Miller Lite (which, I have to admit, was pretty common back in the day).

I love hearing about bars that grow up with me…I’ll have to get down there soon.
