The newest restaurant at Harbor East, Talara, was the setting tonight for a 40th birthday bash for Ayda Said. A gang of friends gathered to toast the birthday gal, sip mojitos and nibble on tapas. The group included Andy Segall, Jill Goldberg, Andy Berman, Patrick Sutton and Tracy Kwiatkowski. An hour (and three mojitos) later, I said my good-byes and raced home, where my girlfriend was making fried chicken (the Martha Stewart recipe) for dinner— didn’t want to be late for that!
