Caught the train up to New York today to attend some Fashion Week events, including the Carlos Campos men’s and women’s show this evening downtown at the Altman Building. After dinner at chef Geoffrey Zakarian’s restaurant, Country, I met up with J Shoes’ marketing manager, Courtney Webster, at the show. I spent a half and hour backstage as the models were being prepped, then took my seat for the show, which was wonderful— lots of blues, greys and creative use of plaid. Then, with photographer Matt Gaffney in tow, we walked a few blocks down to W. 14th Street for the afterparty, being held at new lounge Country Club. Spotted at the show and at the party: designer Doug Wilson of ‘Trading Spaces’ fame, rapper Sean Paul, and Halle Berry’s baby-daddy Gabriel Aubry.
