Style magazine kicked off its 20th year of publishing with a party for 220 friends of the magazine held at Silo Point. Prime Outlets provided models and fashions from their stores and Cover Girl cosmetics brought along McKey, a recent winner of “America’s Next Top Model” to model clothing, meet guests and sign autographs. Partygoers were greeted by a martini bar with four types of martinis just inside the entryway. Once inside, guests were treated to multiple food stations and passed hors d’oeuvres, all by chef Jerry Edwards of Chef’s Expressions. Poster-size blow-ups of our favorite fashion covers from the past 20 years were suspended around the room, and multiple TV monitors scrolled with Style covers as well. A DJ supplied background beats for the 3-hour bash. I ran into so many friends over the course of the night, like Ray Mitchener, Brian Combs, Christian Johannsson, Jerry Pellegrino, Diane Macklin, Celeste Corsaro, Michelle Mutert, Stephanie Bradshaw, Lisa Schatz, Barb Clapp, Lisa Simeone, Edie & Stan Brown, Sloane Brown, Vince Peranio & Dolores Deluxe, Sascha Wolhandler, Patrick Sutton, Tracy Kwaitkowski, Dean Alexander & Donna Shaeffer, Suzin & John Boddiford, Todd Yuhanick and way too many more to mention.
