Tonight, the Black Eyed Peas The E.N.D. Tour came through town for a sold-out show at the 1st Mariner Arena. Rapper T-Pain opened the show, then the stage gave way to the slick, highly produced, hit-friendly show for the next hour and a half. The crowd was energetic, on their feet for the entire show, singing, dancing and having a great time. (Interesting too, how many in the crowd were parents with their young kids, all enjoying it equally.) After it ended, Mike Fishman and I headed over to the Afterparty, sponsored by Bacardi and held at Mist. The club was packed and there were lines out the door, which was a bit unexpected at midnight on a Tuesday night. From our perch in the Bacardi VIP area, we could survey the scene as both post-concert-goers and partiers filled the club. In the crowd, I ran into Jill Goldberg, Tanzi Craig, Max Glanville, Klaus Panholzer and Steve Geppi. Three members of the band arrived at the club after the show (Fergie was a no-show) and the crowd was treated to DJ sets by both will.i.am and Taboo from the band.
