fe_little_vegas_mj07Very Good Article! After reading this how can any elected rwepresentative in the Old Line State say with any degree of HONESTY that slots would save the horse racing industry in Maryland. The major reason they left in the 60’s is that we had a governor that was smart, resolute, and not about to be buffaloed! Yes, the pendulum swings but the people should decide - a state-wide referendum - let what happens in the hallways and cloakrooms of the Miller Senate Office Building should stay in the Miller Senate Office Building - this is one issue we can’t let the political stalwarts run amuck with!
